Just a nought, a cipher, that’s all I am!

There are times when...

There are times when loneliness
Is felt amidst a crowd.
And the emptiest, most silent place
Laughs out hollow and loud.

There are times when what you seek
Is growing wild all around.
And look for you, the great and meek
When you dont want to be found.

There are times when happiness
Tastes like a draught of gloom.
And The Paradise of Grace
Is found in The Dessert of Doom.

There are times when every dream
Is counted unjust unfair.
And the wish-fulfilling stream
Is all but a dark, damp, nightmare.

And there are times when life's tide
Turns forever low, dry and stone hard.
It's when you know each taken stride
Is a step closer to The Final-Yard.

My Search

Published by Sanket Rathod under , on Wednesday, March 07, 2007

I am still searching.
What for? I'm still wondering.
Is it answers to my questions?
Or itself questions?

The darkness around me is growing,
Within me entering.
Myself even I cannot find
Did I leave it somewhere behind?

May be I never had
Just in a mundane body I was clad
The true 'I' will come along
After going a distance long

Night Fight

Published by Sanket Rathod under , , on Monday, March 05, 2007

I am tired, feel sleepy
But tommorrow is where I don't want to be
It's past too late
Yet I don't want to go to bed
Because then
I wouldn't know when
Shall come the morning
Without a warning
And will just start the day
The "I don't want" way
So I won't sleep
A promise I know I won't keep
After an hour or two
Like all, I'll lose this battle too
But untill then I'll fight
To try and outlive the night
